BrightLocalSites was built on a simple belief — that small businesses deserve the same quality of website and marketing as the big players. We just make it affordable.

It started with a conversation at a conference.

Lisa, Sally, and Andy didn’t set out to build an agency. They met at an industry conference, got talking over coffee, and realised they were all frustrated by the same thing — small businesses being underserved, overcharged, or simply ignored by the web and marketing industry.

So they did something about it. BrightLocalSites was born from that frustration, built around three distinct areas of expertise, and focused entirely on businesses that genuinely need the help.

Five years on, the founding trio has grown into a team of eleven — each one chosen for their expertise, their attitude, and their belief that a great website can genuinely change the fortunes of a small business.

Her own business, set up from scratch, gave her an insider’s understanding of the marketing challenges that independent businesses face every day.

Nearly two decades in marketing and design — 16 of them in New York working with product, print, packaging and design businesses — gave Andy a perspective few in the UK market can match. He relocated back to London to pour that experience into BrightLocalSites, and it shows in everything we produce.
